Julian von Landsberger, Adviser at the European Central Bank (ECB), visited FAU WiSo as a guest lecturer. As part of the Monetary Policy course, Mr. von Landsberger offered practical insights into European monetary policy.
Mr. von Landsberger focused particularly on the development of monetary policy instruments in light of current challenges, their implementation within the ECB’s existing framework, and the resulting changes to the ECB’s balance sheet. His presentation ideally complemented the conceptual foundations laid in the course and brought monetary policy to life for the students.
